ENERGY

Ecology Water Population Energy

The world runs on energy. Without energy, the world would not have developed into what is today, nor could we continue to develop. Our source of energy for centuries has been fossil fuels, because of their availability and low cost. However, the greenhouse gas emissions from these fossil fuels cause climate change, which is leading to habitat loss, biodiversity loss, water stress, natural disasters, decreased agricultural production, and more unfortunate occurrences.
